Q: RTS - What is the Research Training Scheme (RTS)?

Answer:

All commencing higher degree by research places for Australian residents are funded by the Australian Government under the Research Training Scheme (RTS). RTS places will be awarded to commencing students for a maximum period of two years full time equivalent for a masters student, and four years full time equivalent for a doctoral student. Confirmation of availability of a funded place for eligible students will be made at the time of admission.

Application forms for admission to research degrees are available form the Student Centre or from the Graduate Centre Website. The same application form can be used to apply for a scholarship.
