Q: Protect yourself by protecting your network log on username and password.Answer:SSO gives you instant access to your personal details (address, telephone number, emergency contacts etc), banking details (bank, account number), and pay distribution information. Because this personal information is available to you through SSO, and you log on to SSO using your University network username and password (i.e. your 'a' number and password) it is vital you do not share your username and password with anyone. If you do you will be giving others access to your personal information. Sharing of your University network username and password remains contrary to University ITS policy. Note also that your Manager and HR Service Centre staff who have access to your information are bound by the University's Privacy Policy & Management Plan.
