Q: What happens after I submit a primary name change in Staff Services Online (SSO)?
This submission alerts HR that paperwork is coming and allows HR to follow up if paperwork is not received.
You will still need to submit the supporting (legal) paperwork to Human Resources as evidence of your requested primary (legal) name change.
