Q: As a manager, can I appoint someone to view leave requests that I need to action in Staff Services Online (SSO)?

Answer:

Yes. This is what is known as a leave assessor role. The role of the leave assessor is to check staff availability in order to make a decision to approve or push back leave requests that have been submitted by staff. A request that has been approved by an assessor will then be forwarded to you (as Manager) for final approval. Use Update Leave Assessor in SSO Manager to assign a Leave Assessor.
