Q: Why aren't any other items offered for packaging?Answer:Other items (e.g. health insurance) are not FBT-exempt. Salary packaging is generally not attractive to staff when Fringe Benefits Tax, at the equivalent rate of 48.5% Income Tax, has to be charged.
