EO Online covers theoretical knowledge and a practical understanding of how to apply equal opportunity principles in work and study environments. It includes real life university sector-focused case studies and examples and interactive learning techniques for self-assessment in a self-paced learning environment.
Anticipated learning outcomes for staff include:
-learning how to deal with and prevent discrimination and harassment in the workplace
-understanding legal rights and responsibilities to achieve a discrimination and harassment free work and study environment
-increasing awareness of equity policies, issues and strategies in the University
-having a reference for dealing with issues and grievances.
