Festival of Learning & Teaching

Festival of Learning & Teaching

This year the Festival of Learning and Teaching was held on Monday 9 November 2015 at the North Terrace campus.

The theme for 2015 is Learning Journeys at The University of Adelaide.

Festival delegates also are warmly invited to attend Pre-Festival Events led by international speakers on Friday 6 November 2015, also at the North Terrace campus.

The Festival will bring together academic and professional staff, and students, to present evidence, showcase innovations, debate issues, and share practical tips, about learning and teaching. We are expecting an event that will connect you with new people and ideas, be lively and thought-provoking, and that may include a few surprises.

The 'learning journeys' theme is multi-faceted. It invites exploration and celebration of students' diverse learning experiences as they progress through their studies here at Adelaide, and of the approaches to teaching and to learning support that most effectively engage students and foster student success along the way. It also invites celebration of, and reflection and dialogue about, the learning journeys of staff – as educators experimenting with new teaching ideas, techniques and technologies, and as researchers and scholars seeking to foster strong connections between research and teaching.
