University Preferred Travel Consultants
In accordance to the Travel & Entertainment Policy, all travel must be approved prior to the travel taking place. Travel approval must be obtained via a travel requisition in the Expense Management System.
Domestic Travel
Domestic travel can be booked online via the Online Travel Booking System (Amadeus) or directly with one of the University's preferred Travel Management Consultants (fees apply - refer to the Domestic Travel Fact Sheet for information on domestic booking fees).
Any changes/cancellations to bookings made via the Online Travel Booking System including airfares, accomodation and car hire must be directed to QBT who support the ticketing of the Travel Booking System. They also provide a service to the University if at any time the System is unavailable. They will also accept large group bookings.

International Travel
In accordance to the Travel & Entertainment Policy, all international travel must be booked through one of the University's contracted travel management companies (TMC's).
The University has entered into a number of commercial arrangements to secure discounted international airfares. These fares are only available through the TMC's. They also provide travel advice, hotel and hire car bookings and assistance with visas.

Complaints/Feedback
In order to ensure that the University's preferred travel suppliers deliver the level of customer service expected, any issues or complaints should be referred to the Corportate Credit Card & Travel Services Support Desk (with any supporting documentation) either by email or on ext 33330 or by submitting a feedback form.
International Travel Safety
The University has engaged the services of Customer Care to assist in the management of travel safety. Customer Care provide updates on health and security situations across the globe, email & text advice to travellers and an online tool called "red24 travel tracker" that enables the University (Health, Safety & Wellbeing) to quickly determine the location and contact details of University staff travelling overseas when booked through the University's preferred TMC's - refer to the Legal & Risk website for more information.
