Adding value to South Australian seafood - improving quality, packaging and shelf-life for the modern consumer
Yesterday’s FOODplus seminar drew a good crowd (especially from the SA Food Centre and SARDI Food Safety), and we had the folks from WCHRI join in by video conferencing. With a number of regular FOODplus folks away the seminar was introduced by Bob Seamark. John Carragher’s talk on seafood value adding used data and examples from work done by UniSA, Flinders Uni (Lincoln Marine Science Centre), SARDI and his own company Logifish Consulting. The species covered included yellowtail kingfish, sardines and Goolwa cockles (pipis). If you missed this seminar you can listen to the podcast, or you can watch the slidecast below.
