IT Outages in March/April: impact on key services

ITS is currently engaged in a major program of improvements to services in addition to its ongoing maintenance program. Because of the complex nature of this work, a number of key services will be unavailable during 3 weekends in March/April;

Friday 30 March 6:00 pm to Sunday 1 April at 9:00 pm (weekend only)
Friday 13 April 6:00 pm to Tuesday 17 April at 6:00 pm (includes Monday & Tuesday)
Friday 20 April 6:00 pm to Sunday 22 April at 9:00 pm (weekend only)

Australian Modern British History Associate Conference - Call for Papers

Call for Papers to present at this year's AMBHA conference, to be held in Sydney on 15-16 September 2007. The theme of this year's conference is: "Visual Cultures of the British World."

We are delighted to announce that we have already secured three international keynote speakers for the event: Professor John Barrell of the University of York; Prof.essor Gregory Claeys of Royal Holloway College, London; and Professor James Chandler of the University of Chicago.

Places for presentations will be limited, given the two-day time period allowed. The convenors welcome proposals for presentations ahead of the deadline, which is 1 July 2007.

How much will my Scholarship be per fortnight?
As the majority of scholarships are not taxable, the easy way to calculate your fortnightly payment is to take your annual stipend (ie, $20,000) and divide it by 26 (giving you $769.23). This is the method used by payroll to determine the fortnightly amount. This does not apply to part-time scholarships where the annual amount is taxable.
