  • Who can help if there are problems
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Time management

Confidentiality of the Examination Process:

The Graduate Centre would like to remind supervisors that while students and supervisors may discuss the names of potential examiners, and it is acceptable for students to be aware of the names of the pool of examiners under consideration, they are not to be advised of the names of those examiners finally recommended by the School/Discipline or appointed by the University.

Breaches of this protocol may render the examination process invalid. Examiners have the right to remain anonymous and if their identity is revealed (except following the examination process with their consent) the examination will be invalidated. In such circumstances, new examiners must be appointed and consequently, the examination process will be significantly delayed.
