Postgraduate Research Induction 24 July 2009
Yet another successful Postgraduate Research Induction was held on Friday 24 July 2009. With approximately 143 students in attendance, the program ran smoothly and positive feedback was received from most students. There were approximately 40 university staff and students involved who either gave presentations, assisted on panels, helped at the registration tables and with preparations leading up to the day.
The student evaluation forms are in the process of being processed and will be available on the Graduate Centre website soon.
Thank you once again to all participants.

The AusBiotech-GSK Student Excellence Awards are national awards that are partnered exclusively by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). These national awards encourage students to think strategically about their research in the bioscience, biotechnology or medical technology field. The awards are open in each state and finalists are required to “pitch” the commercial application of their research to a panel of judges.
Applications close 14th August 2009.
