Annual Review / Re-Enrolments
All students who have returned and successfully completed an Annual Review will be automatically re-enrolled for 2009 in mid to late December, providing that they have no outstanding financial obligation to the University.
Please be aware your enrolment for 2009 will not be processed if you have not submitted your annual review by the end of November, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Graduate Centre. Further information (including the Annual Review form) is available from the Annual Review website
Closing for Christmas
The Graduate Centre will be closed from 1.00 pm on Wednesday, 24 December 2008 and will re-open for business at 9.00 am on Monday, 5 January 2009.
Any e-mails and telephone messages left during this time will be attended to as soon as possible after the Centre re-opens.
Graduations in December 2008
In order to graduate in December 2008 (provided that you have applied to graduate and have received an "outcome of thesis examination" letter) the Graduate Centre requires three hard-bound (and, if applicable, one electronic) copies of your suitably-amended thesis, together with the completed "Confirmation of Amendments to Thesis" (if you lodged your "Intention to Submit" prior to 1 February 2007) or "Confirmation of Amendments and ADTP" (if you lodged your "Intention to Submit" after 1 February 2007) by close of business on 30 November 2008. As this day falls on a Sunday, amended theses will be accepted up to close of business on Monday 1 December 2008.
Thesis Submission
If you are planning to submit your thesis for examination before Christmas, you are advised to do so by no later than close of business on Tuesday, 23 December 2008.
Please note, however, that theses submitted in the week beginning 22 December 2008 will not be sent for examination until after the University re-opens on 5 January 2008.
Approval of Forms
The Graduate Centre returns to the student a copy of the form (eg: Leave of Absence, Change of Attendance Status) after it has been approved. Students are therefore requested to ensure that the specific Faculty, School/Discipline are included on the application form as the approved form will be returned via the internal mail system.
Signatures on Forms
To facilitate timely completion approval of Graduate Centre forms students are requested to collect all relevant signatures before forwarding the form to the Graduate Centre. Incomplete forms are returned to students.
