Postgraduate Research Induction Sessions

Induction Programs are organised by the Adelaide Graduate Centre for commencing PhD and Masters by Research students. From January 2013 this will be offered on-line for the first time, through MyUni.

Cotutelle Workshop

The University has responded to the initiative of the Government of France (Traduction non officielle des articles 1 a 10 de l'Arrete du 18 janvier 1994), to permit the joint supervision of doctoral candidates under a Cotutelle de Thesis agreement.

Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) Seminar

Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (German Academic Exchange Service) carries out the planning and administration of scholarship schemes, fellowship programs, the assignment of German teaching staff to higher education institutions abroad and institutional projects for numerous Federal Ministries.

University Doctoral Research Medal

The University awards up to 15 Doctoral Research Medals for the highest quality PhD theses examined each year. Medals are presented at the relevant April Graduation Ceremony in the year following the one for which the medal was awarded, or privately by appointment. Recipients are eligible for V.I.P. seating for three guests.

Awards for Excellence for HDR Supervision

Each year the University calls for nominations for at least one award to recognise and encourage sustained excellence in the supervision and support of Higher Degree by Research students.
