I have applied for Permanent Residency, but I don’t think it will come through by 31 October.  Can I apply for an APA pending its approval?
Unfortunately, no.  To be eligible for an APA or a Divisional Scholarship you need to have your PR by 31 October.  The only other option would be that when you are actually granted your PR, you speak with your Supervisor about the possibility of a Divisional Scholarship (these too cannot be applied for pending PR).

I have applied for Permanent Residency.  Can I apply for international student scholarships?
You are not eligible to apply for an IPRS but you can be considered for international scholarships funded by the University (ASI, AGRS). If successful you will need to commence your studies before permanent residency is approved or you will lose your schoalrship.

When the applications are sent to the disciplines for ranking, they provide the Adelaide Graduate Centre with either 'confirmed' or 'provisional'. If your results aren't available at the time of offer, the offer will be subject to confirmation of your honours result.

What is a certified copy?
A certified copy is a copy of an original document that has been signed by a Justice of the Peace or other relevant person (Police Officer, Minister of Religion) to say that it is an exact copy of the original.  You can also get them sighted at the University Contact Centre.  Take your copies and your original with you.  The Adelaide Graduate Centre does not sight documents.  Note that original documentation (this includes manuscripts, CDs, DVD's, novels) will not be returned.

We prefer domestic students to commence by 31 March.  If you are unable to start by that date (ie employment commitments, prearranged holidays etc), you will need to write to the Adelaide Graduate Centre requesting permission to start late.  The latest you can commence is 30 June.
International students must commence by the date indicated in their scholarship offer letter.
