Health, Safety & Wellbeing
updatedThe University of Adelaide is committed to maintaining the highest possible standards of health, safety and well being for all students, employees and visitors while they are at the University.
As a student, your supervisors have the primary responsibility for implementing and maintaining safe working practices at the local level by ensuring that you are:
- fully informed about the hazards associated with work/studies activities
- adequately trained and instructed in safe working procedures and
- appropriately supervised.
If you have any concerns about health and safety issues, talk to your supervisor in the first instance and then the Postgraduate Coordinator or Head of School. The Health, Safety & Wellbeing Unit is also available to provide advice.
