SubmissionThree hard or soft bound copies of the thesis are required for examination purposes, together with (for students in the Faculties of Engineering, Computer & Mathematical Sciences and Sciences only), an electronic copy in portable document format (pdf). The submitted theses must comply with the conditions detailed in the document "Specifications for Thesis" (Appendix 6). In particular, a statement signed and dated by you, should follow the title page of each thesis copy. Your signature MUST be original, not a photocopy. The purpose of the statement is to:
A completed "Certification of Thesis for Examination" is also required. If you have signed a "Student Project Participation Agreement" or received approval from the Research Education and Development Committee for an embargo to be placed on your thesis, you should still include the statement. Your thesis will be withheld from public access for the approved duration of the embargo. On receipt of the examination copies of the thesis, the Graduate Centre will immediately issue you with a receipt and a CD on which to record the final electronic version of your thesis (following examination and the undertaking of any required amendments) for inclusion in the Australasian Digital Thesis Program. If this is not possible, a receipt and CD will be forwarded to you by post. |
