Research Ethics & Compliance

You need to conduct your research responsibly and ethically. If your research concerns anything about people or their data or tissue, or if you use animals for research or experimentation, then you need to make sure you have the right approvals.

You must get the these approvals well before you conduct any of the research.

Student Services

The University has a suite of services that answer to the academic and personal needs of postgraduate research students: information on fees and charges, help with passwords and online applications, counselling, disability support, a health clinic, security, assistance with accommodation and associated issues, careers advice.

In addition there is the International Student Centre, providing advice and assistance on issues that impact upon international students studying at the university.

Student Care Office of the Adelaide University Union

The Education & Welfare Officers (EWOs) at the Student Care Office are on hand to assist you, providing counselling, assisting with advocacy and problem-solving, and helping you access necessary  resources.

Whether you need to talk about personal, financial, administrative or academic issues, our experienced EWOs will most likely be able to provide you with some effective and confidential advice.
