Applying for a Postgraduate Research Scholarship for International Students

Each year the University of Adelaide has a Major International Scholarship Round of applications. This is the most effective way to maximise the chances of obtaining an international research scholarship as international students will be considered for every available scholarship for which they are eligible. Up to 44 scholarships are usually offered as part of this Round each year.

Candidates who have applied for Australian permanent resident status are not eligible to apply for these scholarships.

Applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome of their application by the International Office in November, following the selection processs.

Some scholarships will also be available at various other times throughout the year and you should visit the University of Adelaide’s Postgraduate International Scholarship website to see what is available at the time you are considering applying for admission.

Closing Date: 31 August. We strongly recommend that all applicants submit their application and all required documents well before this closing date.
