Beef CRCThe CRC for Beef Genetic Technology is an integrated program of research, education and training to enhance the international competitiveness of the Australian beef industry. The CRCs research focuses on Gene Discovery and Expression to equip Australia for precision cattle breeding and management for quality, efficiency and profitability. Postgraduate scholars are invited to apply for CRC Scholarships for PhD and Masters degree projects at sites across the CRC network. At least one supervisor must be a CRC Scientist and the project integrated with the current Beef CRC projects. Students need to discuss a potential project with the supervisor/s prior to applying. Details of research areas and CRC Project Leaders can be found at www.beefcrc.com.au Value: The scholarships will provide a tax-free stipend of $28,000 (PhD) or $25,200 (Masters) per annum for 3 or 2 years, to commence in January 2009.
