Research training at the University involves the active participation of both staff and students. The responsibility for ensuring that it is conducted in the most efficient and effective manner is shared by all parties: the University, the Faculties, Schools, staff and students, all have obligations to each other. - Operational Research Business Information Tool (ORBIT)
The Operational Research Business Information Tool (ORBIT) is a web-based system that provides staff with a detailed view of research activities. The Student Profiles module provides reports designed to assist in the management of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students from application through to completion of their candidature.
- GPA Calculations
The University monitors the academic progress of all students to assist them in the successful completion of their program. The Unsatisfactory Academic Progress by Coursework Students Policy (http://www.adelaide.edu.au/policies/1803/) provides a framework for identifying and assisting coursework students whose academic performance falls below set standards.
