Members of the Higher Education Research Group of Adelaide
HERGA is a cross-disciplinary community of educators and its membership reflects this diversity. HERGA is led by the HERGA Executive Group, who seek to organise events for professional development and collaborative research.
The HERGA Executive consists of 12 academic and professional staff members from multiple disciplines, and is convened by Edward Palmer, University of Adelaide. Key roles include Secretary, Treasurer, Web Manager, Event Organisation and Marketing.
How do I Join?
HERGA Executive
In the first instance, please email Edward Palmer to express your interest. If you have a sponsor from HERGA, please make this clear when contacting the Convenor.
Executive members are required to attend a majority of HERGA meetings and provide an avenue of communication on educational matters between the members discipline/school/faculty and the HERGA membership. Participation in other members' research and educational grant activity is encouraged but not compulsory.
General membership
We welcome general members from all institutions. Please email Edward Palmer to join, and receive invitations to upcoming HERGA events.
