That's why we are committed to giving you the opportunity to develop your own skills by offering you practical and interesting programs.

Our programs are facilitated by members of the University community, or external consultants, and are geared toward personal and professional development. You can learn how to improve your communication skills, supervisory skills, build strong relationships with your colleagues, or be a better leader.

In 2009 our Staff Learning and Development curriculum focuses on building:

• leadership capability to ensure that the University is positioned to deliver excellent teaching and research outcomes through the effective leadership and management of people;
• performance culture by helping staff to build confidence and capability in managing performance and engaging in meaningful conversations; and
• organisational capability by equipping staff with broad awareness of the University's systems, practices and its strategic objectives.

Attendance at programs requires approval from your supervisor.

The Organisational Development Team also offers a range of Tailored Learning Solutions to Schools and Branches across the University.
