Professional Development Networks
Network groups provide staff with support and the opportunity to share information, ideas, and develop contacts across the University and the wider community.
There are a number of networks available for staff to join (this list is not exhaustive):
Academic Women's Forum (AWF)
The AWF holds lunchtime meetings and workshops to discuss issues of interest or concern to academic women.
Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM)
ATEM is a professional association for managers or administrators working in the tertiary sector.
Australian Federation of University Women (SA) Inc. (AFUW)
AFUW promotes social change through the education of women and girls.
AVCC Register for Senior University Women
This Register allows the user to search for specific contacts across Australian Universities.
Development & Alumni

Education Research Group of Adelaide (ERGA)
ERGA is a cross-disciplinary community of educators promoting high quality University learning through evidence-based, practical approaches to teaching.
Post Docs and Early Career Researchers Resource Website
This site is a central information resource for post docs and early career researchers on a diverse range of topics including funding applications, and development and training resources.
TechNet SA
TechNet SA is a network for staff of the three South Australian universities working in the practical application of science, engineering, health and associated technological and support services.
Women's Professional Development Network
WPDN was established in 1995 and is open to all female professional staff at the University of Adelaide. Activities that run throughout the year include lunchtime forums on issues concerning female general staff, networking breakfasts and a mentoring program.
