Planning Development and Review - A Program for Staff

Program Overview

The University is committed to building the capability and confidence of all staff to engage in the Planning, Development and Review (PDR) process and associated conversations.

The program aims to help staff maximise the outcomes of PDR discussions and to provide context for the University's Performance Excellence Framework.

  • Benefits of PDR for staff.
  • Setting objectives and key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Identifying work and career development needs.
  • Preparing for PDR discussions.
  • Getting the most from the PDR discussion.

Who should attend?

PDR applies to all continuing staff on a fixed term contract of 12 months or longer.

Program Details

Several workshops run throughout the year for staff. You can attend a program open to all University staff, or where there is sufficient demand a program can be delivered directly to Faculties or Branches.
