Staff-related Equity and Diversity Issues

Advice and assistance can be sought from the Workforce Strategy Consultant (Equity and Diversity) on staff equity and diversity issues relating to:

• equity in recruitment, selection, promotion and management
• discrimination and harassment
• the Fair Treatment Policy
• the Gender, Equity and Diversity (GED) Committee
• equity training.

Support and assistance for staff with a disability is available through the Workforce Strategy Consultant (Equity and Diversity).

The Senior HR Consultant with portfolio responsibility for your Faculty or Division is also available to provide a consultancy on a range of employment related issues including workplace and employee relations and staff complaints.

Staff with Student-related Equity and Diversity Issues

Information on handling student complaints is available from Student Policy and Appeals.

Support in regard to helping indigenous students is available from the Centre for Australian Indigenous Research and Studies (Wilto Yerlo).

Support in dealing with student disability issues is available from the Disability Liaison Officer.
