We are pleased to introduce the HSW team, together with a brief summary of their key roles and contact details.

As indicated under each portfolio the team provide a range of OH&S and Injury Management services across a diverse and complex range of activities conducted by the University community.

Senior HSW Consultant, Operations

  • Co-ordinate promulgation of policy, tools, templates systems into Divisions/Faculties
  • Corporate Training Plan,
  • Reporting, statistics, benchmarking
  • Co-ordinate the Internal audit program
  • Oversee RMSS
  • Oversee Chemical/Biological/Plant/Equip

Senior HSW Consultant, Policy and Liaison

  • External Liaison (WorkCover, SafeWork SA and other stakeholders)
  • Internal Liaison (eg committees, website)
  • Development of policy, tools, templates
  • Oversee Injury and Claims Management, the Wellbeing Program and Employee and Third party risk

  • Determine/review/record/authorise benefits subject to relevant approvals being obtained by the HSW Team and in accordance with the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Legislation
  • Co-ordinate case management with internal and external stakeholders and the injured worker.
