Hazard Information

The Occupational Health and Safety Unit has produced Occupational Hazard Information Sheets designed to provide staff and students with information about a range of hazards that have been identified across the University. Such information is provided to new employees where appropriate as part of the University's ongoing committment to preventing occupational injury and illness.

Occasionally, hazards may be also be identified that warrant special attention and communication across the entire University. To achieve this, the OH&S Unit will write and disseminate Hazard Alerts containing information about specific high risk hazards and how to effectively control them. Such Alerts will appear on this page and may be disseminated in other ways also.
