Safety and Overseas Travel

The University has a duty of care towards staff who are travelling on University business. Before travelling overseas for University business, a written risk assessment must be conducted and any foreseeable risks controlled, these documents are to be signed off by the Head of School/Branch or Supervisor and filed with other travel documents (approval document and traveller profile).

It is important that the traveller profile is completed, and the policy is read and appropriate approvals sought.
