Stress Management - Basic Information About How To Manage StressIntroductionIt is recommended that readers of this Stress Management web page visit the OH&S 'Occupational Stress' web page and become familiar with the 'Stress Awareness', 'Traumatic Events', and 'Psychological Abuse' links.The aim of this web page is to provide staff, Managers and Supervisors with some basic stress management skills that will assist them address stress issues that they may encounter personally, in their colleagues or subordinate staff. After perusing this site the reader should have a clearer understanding of occupational stress, work and non-work causes, implications for the work environment, knowledge of a range of helping strategies and guidelines for the referral of complex situations to specialists.
