Injury Management - Rehabilitation Services and Workers Compensation
The Health, Safety and Wellbeing team are responsible for providing rehabilitation and claims management services to injured University employees. Should you have an injury at work or require information in relation to lodging a Workers Compensation Claim please contact: Louise Dunn, Wellbeing Specialist, telephone: 8313 5904, Level 13, 115 Grenfell Street, Adelaide 5005. Workers CompensationIf you wish to lodge a Workers Compensation Claim, have an issue with your claims management or rehabilitation or wish to review Frequently Asked Questions about worker's compensation, please refer to the Injury Management chapter of the HSW Handbook. Claim forms for travel and medical expenses are available from the HSW Specialist (Injury Management and Wellbeing). Further information is available on the WorkCover website. Injury Management FeedbackThe HSW Team invites you to provide feedback on what is being done and is also open to new ideas on how we can continuously improve our systems and service. If you wish to make a suggestion, please email the Senior HSW Consultant (Policy and Liaison) (Deb Coulls). Your suggestions will be incorporated in our 6 monthly review which is tabled at the University Health and Safety Committee. The HSW feedback form includes specific question sets which can be completed by injured workers or supervisors. It is designed to rate the service that the injury management team have provided. This survey can be filled out at any time throughout the process or at the formal 6 monthly review (instigated by the HSW team). Workers Compensation Complaints Investigation ProcessThe University of Adelaide takes all complaints seriously. Should you have a concern or complaint in regard to your claims management and/or rehabilitation, please refer to the Injury Management chapter of the HSW Handbook and complete the Complaint Report Form.
