Procedures for the Award of Attraction/Retention LoadingsAttraction/Retention Loading Policy October 1999
Consideration and approval of the loading by area managersHeads of academic departments or schools and heads of administrative areas should address the issues listed below when submitting their proposal for a loading to the relevant area manager. Area managers should consider these same points when deciding whether an Attraction/Retention loading is justified:
The area manager's decision on the award/non award of the loading is final. October 1999
Administration of loadingApproved salary loadings will be administered by the Human Resources department. The loading will be paid as salary with income tax deducted as appropriate. Salary sacrifice to Tertiary Education Superannuation Scheme (TESS) of the total loading on a regular fortnightly basis is optional. For further information contact Human Resources. |
