Research supporting the developing world

World-class researchers from all across the University of Adelaide are working together as part of the Humanitarian and Development Solutions Initiative to help solve some of the world’s greatest problems.

Working with industry, governments and non-government organisations, the aim is to help raise the quality of life for billions of people within the humanitarian and development sectors.

From the development of highly accurate water sensors and appropriate technology cooking systems, to analysis to cultural and gender requirements in specific villages and government-wide policies for emergency response, our researchers are making the world a better place.
