Professional Investment Services Pty LtdProfessional Investment Services (PIS) consists of over 1500 advisers and over 1000 associated accountants. This provides ample opportunities for graduates to gain positions in either Accounting or Financial Planning disciplines. Despite the slowing of global economies, our company continues to grow, notably in the areas of Insurance Advice and Accounting. The PIS Network Education operation has only recently been implemented and is now being recognized as a great opportunity for our advisers to develop their practices. The network is welcoming students to take on work experience opportunities as well as part time or full time employment. Throughout the past financial year the Education Department has placed over 30 students in our network. Currently we have a high demand for students looking to work in Northern NSW (Grafton and Maclean), North Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne. Any students interested in locating in these regions are encouraged to send through their contact details to Georgia Nides to ensure you receive invitations to information sessions and job opportunities. The Professional Investment Services Insight Program, designed especially for graduates, will now be offered to students in all states. This will enable students to attend a free workshop to gain an insight into the role of a Financial Planner, Risk Adviser and Accountant and how they work together to benefit of the client. The program will also give an overview of compliance, client contact and identify how students can take the next step to enter the industry. In addition, students have the opportunity to network with the PIS management to create key relationships to assist them in the development of their careers. This initiative is an integral part of PIS' combined efforts to create a pathway for aspiring students nationwide to enter the Financial Planning and Accounting profession.
