The International Centre for Financial Services offers this entry level Specialist SMSF course for participants wanting to increase their knowledge in the fastest growing sector in financial planning and wealth management with the flexibility of online study.
Course Structure
This course consist of 3 modules which can be studied as part of a 3 module course or you may wish to study individual modules only.

Participants will have 6 months to complete their studies.

The International Centre for Financial Services will be seeking accreditation of this course from a number of industry bodies and will update when cofnirmed.

The price for the 3 module course is AU$1,000 or AU$400 per module if purchased individually.

Are there any entry requirements for the program?
No this course is open to all interested participants.
What is the difference between the Professional Certificate program and this course?
The Professional Certificate is:
- A University award program so upon successful completion of the program you will receive a University parchment and make use of the associated post-nominal's.
- A comprehensive 8 day program in SMSF's.
- You will be eligible to take part in the graduation ceremonies held at the University of Adelaide
- Requires participants to complete a 3 hour open book exam as part of the assessment for each course as well as assignments
- As this is a 6 unit University award program you may be eligible to count these courses towards a Masters program as electives. This is at the discretion of the admitting University.
- You will be eligible for The SMSF Professional's Association of Australia Prize for the Professional Certificate in Self Managed Superannuation
The Specialist SMSF course Online is:
- A non award course so there are no post-nominal's associated with completion of the course. Upon successful completion of the program participants receive a University branded certificate.
- A concise course designed to provide participants with the knowledge to undertake the SPAA SMSF Specialist Adviser Program
How up to date is the information covered in the course?
The lecturer constantly updates the materials and as rulings come through they will be updated and included.
