Edward Lin
Biography/BackgroundEdward (Chien-Ting) Lin is the senior lecturer in Finance with the Business School. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from Texas Tech University and his MBA from University of Houston. He has since taught numerous Finance courses with several universities in the U.S. and Australia and has also taught in other offshore locations such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and China. His areas of specialization in Finance are in Dividend and Financing Decisions, Asset pricings, Finance Markets and Instruments, and Risk Management in which he has published several articles in the Australian, U.K., and U.S. based finance journals. Edward is also a principal shareholder of several small and medium companies. They include Tian-Yuan Chemical Pty. Ltd. (Singapore, Shanghai), Ta Wu Steel Pty. Ltd. (Malaysia), MayBricks (Malaysia) and Chiar Yuan Trading Lty. (Taiwan). In addition, he serves as an independent director of Overseas Chinese Commercial Bank, Shanghai. Back to Staff |
