Biography/Background

Monte has been involved with the SMSF industry for several years. In early 2007 he won the inaugural Superannuation Scholarship - Cadetship through SPAA and SuperGuardian. Monte is currently finishing his Masters of Accounting and Finance and has concurrently commenced his PhD.

The focus of his research is on governance aspects of SMSFs. Monte provides technical advice to SuperGuardian clients, is the author of technical articles and tutors with the University of Adelaide in various accounting and management subjects. He is also on the board of Ausdance SA, where is he currently Treasurer. Monte is involved with the SA State Chapter Committee of SPAA.
