Biography/Background

Peter Burgess has been employed in the superannuation industry for the past 20 years and has a Masters degree in Business Administration, a degree in economics and postgraduate qualifications in superannuation management and finance.

Peter is a Board member and Director of the Self Managed Superannuation Funds Professional Association of Australia (SPAA) and chair of SPAA's education committee.

Peter's views on technical superannuation issues are highly regarded in the industry and he is a regular public speaker at major industry conferences. Peter has also published a number of articles and accredited training material on the subject of SMSF's and is an experienced and highly regarded SMSF lecturer.

Peter is also a former member of the South Australian Institute of Sport having represented South Australia on many occassions in squash.
