Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd Meeting Adelaide Development Studies students in Indonesia

On Monday 9 January Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd met with Australian students enrolled in the ACICIS development and journalism practicums in Jakarta. Eight of these students are from Adelaide University and the development practicum is run by IPGRC Associate Director Andrew Rosser. Mr. Rudd spoke positively about the programs and emphasised their contribution to Australia-Indonesia relations.

Workshop

The IPGRC with Constellation SA are pleased to announce the workshop ‘Politics and the Two-Speed/Patchwork Economy: Transformation, Participation and Equality’.

The workshop will be opened with an introduction by University of Adelaide Vice-Chancellor Professor James McWha, and a keynote address by Senator Penny Wong, Minister for Finance and Deregulation.

Senator Wong’s keynote address will take place on Thursday 1 December, 5.00-6.00pm, in the Flentje Lecture Theatre, Plaza Building Level 2

The workshop will take place on Friday 2 December, 9:15-4:45, in the Moot Court Room, Ligertwood Building.

Please RSVP Wayne Errington for the workshop

There is no need to RSVP for Senator Wong’s key note address.
