Health Sciences Infrastructure Strategy - Stage 2
The Health Sciences Infrastructure Strategy Stage 2 project considers Faculty needs within the North Terrace precinct and CBD. It aims to determine the best locations and use of facilities for staff and student activity which have not relocated to the Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building.
If you require detailed information about construction works and noise/vibration disturbances please email Greg Badger to register for the HSIS Stage 2 distribution list.

- Project Objectives
Through consultation with the project Executive Group and the Health Sciences staff through the recent round of workshops, the Project Objectives for the HSIS2 project has been developed.
These relate primarily to the benefits that will come out of the improved infrastructure, co-location and synergies achieved by more of the Faculty working physically closer together.
- Project Documents
*Please note: The Design Brief is indicative and subject to change. Consultation and review feedback is continually being fed into the documents and they will continue to be refined until signed off at the 100% design phase. Please contact your manager or submit a feedback form below to clarify any queries you may have regarding these documents.
The document above outlines the HSIS S2 project governance structure. The governing body, the Executive Group, provides high-level strategic approvals, advice and recommendations on matters relating to the planning, design and development of the infrastructure for the FHMS (excluding the AHMS building).
- Space Guidelines
The University has developed a set of guidelines around how we use spaces across all campuses. They help ensure design 'best practice' is adhered to, and that both new builds and refurbishments make good use of the available space for teaching, research and professional purposes.
The guidelines will clearly influence the design and use outcomes for the HSIS2 project.
