IPAS/CNBP Novel Plasmonic Tape featured in ACS Applied Nano Materials

PP & Heike

Flexible plasmonics has arisen from the realization of active optical metamaterials on nonplanar, stretchable, and/or flexible substrates for sensing application.  A novel plasmonic tape, combining metal nanostructures on a transparent tape by using a single-step template transfer procedure, has been developed by the IPAS/CNBP research team, led by Dr Peipei Jia and Prof Heike Ebendorff-Heidepriem. This flexible platform lead the way to new applications of plasmonic probes in sensing environmental changes that are otherwise inaccessible.
