Services Provided by Technology

Incorporated as a branch of the Division of Services and Resources; Infrastructure, Property and Technology centrally manages University technology services including;

• telecommunications
• Internet and web
• networks
• email and calendar
• file and print
• audiovisual and videoconferencing
• authentication and security

These support the centrally hosted delivery of;

• business administration systems
• on-line learning and teaching tools
• student computing laboratories
• desktop computing systems

Technology Services also provides hosting and value added services to commercial customers, the income from which partially funds the extension and upgrade of University IT infrastructure.

The University Information and Communications Technology (ICT) environment is supported by a team of dedicated staff who aim to provide high quality administrative and support services, which underpin the core activities of the University: learning, teaching and research.
