Continuing and Fixed Term Contract StaffAll continuing staff and all fixed term contract staff are granted access to online services and access to desktop computers, file and printers. Online Services, Desktop Computers, Files and PrintersAll staff IT accounts provide access to online services such as Email and Internet and Desktop Computers, Files and Printers. The School/Area completes the required paperwork for the commencing staff member and sends it to Human Resources (HR). When processing is complete, IT accounts are automatically created. After advice that accounts have been created staff should visit the University Contact Centre on level 4 of the Wills Building, with some form of photo ID to have their password set. Please see the Resetting your password site for more options. CostsThere are no costs associated with continuing and contract staff having accounts created. TimelinesAccounts for IT services will be created when the appointment form is processed by HR. ITS will complete any additional access requests within a further four days after HR has processed the appointment form. A Prospective Employee Commencement form can be completed and forwarded to HR to allow for IT access to be established prior to the appointment process being finalised. This form will be processed by HR. ITS will complete any additional access requests in a further three days after HR has processed the PEC form.
