AV Advice and instruction

Technology AV provide regular on site demonstrations and instruction sessions for teaching staff. These are usually held before the start of 1st Semester and during the mid year break. Timetabling schedulers will be advised of the demonstration times and will circulate this information to academic staff. These sessions can also be arranged by request.

It is advisable that teaching staff who are new to the University of Adelaide book a session prior to the commencement of each semester to familiarise themselves with the AV facilities in the lecture theatres they will be using.

Advice and instruction is always available by telephone on 8303 3000 (then press option 4).

Demonstrations are scheduled for:

Prior to Orientation week, Mid semester break, dates and times TBA.

Teaching Technologies Audio Visual Consulting Services

Audio Visual installations are becoming a necessity in both teaching and non teaching venues.  Many Academic and Professional staff appear to be seeking information from external sources, particularly for Audio Visual installs.  This may result in designs/quotations offered by Suppliers not being suitable or complying with the AV standards developed by Teaching Technologies for the University.

TT AV offer this consultancy service with the intention that the community make informed decisions when dealing with external AV Suppliers.

Teaching Technologies consulting includes;

• Consultation to determine scope of AV requirements and provide recommendations
• Liaison with the Branch/School's choice of external Supplier informing them of University AV standards
• Review of the Supplier's quotation
