Video Conferencing

Connectivity is provided by AARNet for Universities only. A University of Adelaide ID Number is required to make bookings.

Teaching Technologies Audio Visual Services offers video conferencing in lecture theatres and meeting rooms at North Terrace, Waite and Roseworthy campuses. The systems are capable of national and international ISDN and IP based communication from the venues listed below.

Procedure for Booking Video Conferences

The process for booking Video Conferences has changed. Please follow instructions below.

To request a video conference on North Terrace for a meeting or interview in Room G09 231 North Tce Elizabeth House

Call 8313 3000 (option 1) or email servicedesk@adelaide.edu.au and have the following information ready:

Name,
Contact number
Date and Time
Location of video conference
Local, State or International destination

This information will be passed onto a member of the AV team who will make contact to discuss details and confirm bookings.

To request a video conference in any of the Video Conference Venues in the table above there are two steps

The far end location and testing connections will determine the advance notice required for bookings.

Call Costs

Connection speed is dependent on connectivity of end point equipment.

IP = Data transmission over the Internet ISDN = Digital telephone service for data transmission

ISDN Calls: Any Destination $0 /hour Incoming

Outgoing calls will incur a cost. Contact the AV team for rates.
