Video conferencing

The following venues have built in Video Conferencing facilities;

• Meeting/Interview Room - 122 Hartley Building
• Lecture Theatres - Napier 102, Union Hall, Hone, Rennie, Richardson (Roseworthy) 

The following lecture theatres are Video Conferencing enabled which means they do not have installed video conferencing devices but are cabled for easy connection:

Napier  LG28, LG29, Benham, Mawson, Engineering N132, Horace Lamb, Flentje, Hughes, MacBeth.

Procedure for Booking Video Conferences

• Please complete the video conference online booking form
• Please indicate on the form the video conferencing venue required.  For meetings or interviews Rm 122 Hartley Bldg (Kintore Ave) is recommended. 
• If you have any questions regarding video conferencing please either email them to  videoconferencing@adelaide.edu.auor call 8303 3933 to speak with one of the AV Team. 

Costs

• UofA affiliated - Room & Equipment $100 - (this charge for After Hours usage only)
• Non UofA affliliated - Hire for Room & Equipment $200 - Anytime
• Technician Overtime Costs - $80/hour @ 4 hour minimum - Total $320

Call Costs

Based on 384kb/second

Dependent on connectivity of end point equipment. 

IP = Data transmission over the Internet  ISDN = Digital telephone service for data transmission

Timelines

Two weeks notice is recommended for Video Conference bookings.
