Video conferencing

Teaching Technologies Audio Visual Services offers video conferencing in lecture theatres and meeting rooms at North Terrace, Waite and Roseworthy campuses.  The systems are capable of national and international ISDN and IP based communication from the venues listed below.

Currently every dual projection lecture theatre is Video Conference enabled.  This means that they are capable of video conferencing both to internal and external destinations, however, only a limited number have video conference devices installed.  They are all cabled in preparation for a device to be connected.  To arrange a video conferenc from lecture theatre to lecture theatre or to an external destination, please email videoconferencing@adelaide.edu.au or call 8303 3933. 

The connectivity is provided by Aarnet for University business only.

Bookings for video conferences are managed by Teaching Technologies Audio Visual Services.

Procedure for Booking Video Conferences

• Please complete the video conference online booking.
• For meetings or interviews Rm 122 Hartley Bldg (Kintore Ave) is recommended and must be booked in Syllabus +. 
• If you have any questions regarding video conferencing please either email them to  videoconferencing@adelaide.edu.au or call 8303 3933 to speak with one of the AV Team. 

Costs

• UofA affiliated - Room & Equipment $100 - (this charge for After Hours usage only)
• Technician Overtime Costs - $80/hour @ 4 hour minimum - Total $320
