Checking Proxy Settings

Proxy settings are the settings that allow you access to the internet outside of the University home page.

1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then Internet Options.

2. Click the connections tab.

3. Click the LAN settings button.

4. Make sure there is no tick next to "Automatically detect settings". Place a tick in the "Use automatic configuration script" check box.

5. In the box, enter this address - http://www.adelaide.edu.au/digest-proxy.pac.

6. Make sure there is no tick in "Use a proxy server for your LAN).

7. Click OK, and then OK again.
