Purging Emails from Outlook

When deleting emails from Microsoft Outlook they are not moved to a trash folder instead they are marked for deletion. To remove these emails from your account you need to purge your account and this will remove the emails permanently from your account.

1. When you are in Microsoft Outlook make sure that you are looking at your inbox on mail.adelaide.edu.au

2. You will then be able to select the “Purge Marked Items” and this will remove all the emails that you have selected to be deleted.
