Guidelines for "All Student" emailsThe University provides email addresses to all students to facilitate communication between the University and its students. Emails sent to allstudents@adelaide.edu.au must adhere to the following guidelines; - Allstudent emails must only be about University business that is relevant to a majority of students such as announcements from the Vice-Chancellor and President, administrative reminders, or concerning services or faciltities available to students to complement their University studies.
- Allstudent emails are not to advertise any bodies external to the University or events organised by external bodies.
- Allstudent emails are not to advertise social or extra-curricular activity, although some discretion may be exercised if the event is being organised by one of the recognised student representative bodies.
- Allstudent emails should not generally be sent out more than once each week.
- The content of allstudent emails must be approved by either the VC&P or the DVC(A).
- Allstudent emails can only be sent from the Offices of the VC&P or the DVC(A), or by the Manager of Student Services.
- Complaints about overuse or inappropriate use should be directed to the DVC(A).
