Conference Call options with the Universty of Adelaide

Call Conferencing from your Desk Phone

We have three options available to you.

1. You can make a conference call yourself through the Uni phone system with up to 8 separate parties. Please click on link for Conferencing Guide.

2. Macquarie Telecom offers a conferencing service. You dial in to the Toll Free number 1800 556 015 you will need the meeting number and pin code for your department for the call cost to bill back to, this is held by your finance officer. Please click on Macquarie link for more information.

3. Enterprise Care Conferencing offers service that also bills back to your department. You dial 1800 80 84 80 to book the conference. You will need the time of the conference, the phone numbers of the participants and the department that you belong to at Adelaide Uni. for the call costs to be charged to. Polycom Phones

A Polycom is a specialized phone designed for making conference calls. It is used when there is more than one party wanting to participate in a call e.g. multiple people in different remote locations needing to be part of one call. It can also be used when a group of people are in one meeting room talking to one person at another location.

Polycoms are available to loan from Technology Services by contacting the Service Desk on ext 33000 or via email servicedesk@adelaide.edu.au. The maximum loan period is 24 hours and any damages to the phone will be charged to the person who requested it.
