Ordering & Porting Mobile Phones

Select one of the three options below.

Ordering a new University mobile phone and or mobile number

If you are a new or existing University staff member requiring a new mobile service or replacement handset.

1. Select a Mobile phone or PDA if required. (Area may have one already for you) 
2. Select a Data & Internet plan if required. (A must have for PDA's)
3. Fill in the online Internal Request / External Request form to request a new handset and or new mobile number.

Move your personal mobile number onto the University account

If you are a new or existing staff member who would like to port your personal number or number from another work place to the University account.

1. Select a Mobile phone or PDA if required. (Area may have one already for you) 
2. Select a Data & Internet plan if required. (A must have for PDA's)
3. Fill in the on line  Internal Request or External Request form.
4. Fill in the Macquarie Porting request form to give the University permission to transfer your mobile number.
5. Fax the Macquarie Porting request form back to the Service Desk on ext 35775 with the request number from your online request form.

Take your University mobile number when you leave the University

You may with to porting your mobile number from the University account to your own personal account if you leave. You will need to:

1. Fill in the online Internal Request or External Request form.
2. Fill in the Macquarie on line web form to port to Family and Friends.
3. You will then be able to port your number from Macquarie to the carrier of your choice if required.
